Today I’d like to share a little behind the scenes of the website design for Krys B Sweet Treats. This site launched back in November just in time for Christmas cookie sales! Keep scrolling to see the creative direction behind this cookie shop website design!
The Design Inspiration & Creative Direction
This project was such a sweet treat! Working with Krys’s existing logo, here is the web design inspiration for Krys B Sweet Treats:
Since her creations are the star of her brand, we kept the design elements fresh and light. We kept the typography simple but did have a little fun with icons creating this background pattern design.
The resulting vision board certainly is sweet and sassy, just like Krys and her cookies!
The Brand Colour Story
The colour palette for this project was inspired by Krys’s existing logo and her love for creating rose-themed cookies. The rest of the palette was inspired by her craft – cookie dough and parchment paper.
I love naming brand colours with something meaningful to the client. It’s easier to remember and talk about them when they have a fun name attached!
