Showit 5 is by far my favourite web building tool. Whatever you imagine, you can most probably create it. So, let’s take a closer look at an essential component to any good website – navigation. I want to show you just what is possible so I’ve rounded up some beautiful Showit website menu designs to get you inspired!
Menus are such a key part of your website as they help your guests navigate and hopefully find what they are looking for! Without a good navigation system, browsers are likely to bounce quickly. With most website builders, the menu options are pretty standard but with Showit you can really make this feature shine. Let’s take a look at some that do just that!
I’m starting my list with this beautiful design from GoLiveHQ. They’ve utilized different canvases within Showit to build two navigation features – the main menu and the social menu.
The main menu pops out unexpectedly on the left side of the page while the social menu sits above the other content on the right. It’s simple to adjust the canvas stacking orders to get layers with dynamic effects. When not in use, the main menu tucks away nicely.
2. Showit website menu design by WG&G
The ability to show or hide canvases with Showit enables designers to create stunning website menu designs like this one from the ladies at With Grace and Gold. There really are unlimited possibilities to make your website navigation stand out and capture your dream clients!
I especially love the added text on the close menu icon. It’s a simple detail with high impact.
3. Showit website template from Tonic
The duo behind Tonic create some beautiful Showit 5 templates. I love how this menu is in a completely unexpected location – the bottom of the header! Showit makes it easy to place navigation menus anywhere within your web design.
4. Showit website menu design by IDCO
Specializing in websites for interior designers and lifestyle brands, the team at IDCO has a minimal approach to their designs. Masters at working with typography, I love how they’ve created so much depth in their own website menu. They’ve used size variation, italics and all caps to create visual interest with this clean and elegant layout.
5. Website Menu design by me for Passeggiata Showit template launching Autumn of 2019!
While I love being inspired by the amazing designers that create gorgeous websites on the Showit platform, I would also love to share a piece of my own work. I’m very excited to launch my first website template this autumn. Here is a sneak peek at the desktop menu design.
My favourite part of this navigation is the photo. It’s certainly unexpected in a menu bar!
