Founded by Wendy, a passionate maker from Greater Vancouver, Earth and Fire Company handcrafts candles using 100% Eco Soy Wax and pure essential oils, creating scents that evoke peaceful walks through the forest and the quiet beauty of changing seasons.

From our very first conversation, it was clear that this candle brand needed more than just a visual identity. It needed to capture a feeling. The founder’s passion for nature, wellness, and simple living shaped every creative decision. From the color palette to the typography to the sensory elements we designed, every choice was guided by the emotions we wanted the brand to evoke.
Our goal was to create luxury candle branding that felt approachable, earthy, and authentic — a balance between grounded calm and refined beauty. To achieve this, we drew inspiration from organic textures, neutral earth tones, and the slow, meditative moments that lighting a candle can create.
The brand’s core imagery is subtle yet meaningful. It allows the product to shine while reinforcing the peaceful, health-conscious values at the heart of Earth & Fire Candle Company. Clean, timeless typography paired with understated, naturalistic tones echoes the simplicity of nature itself. At the heart of Earth & Fire Candle Company lies a beautiful duality — the grounded calm of earth and the transformative energy of fire. This yin and yang relationship inspired both the brand design and the custom website experience, guiding every creative decision we made.
The branding draws heavily from the element of earth, using neutral tones, grainy textures, and organic patterns that feel connected to soil, stone, and forest. In contrast, the spirit of fire appears in the design’s movement — the fluid layout, the soft interplay of light and shadow, and the warm, inviting imagery.
One of the most meaningful visual elements is the custom monogram, which brings the brand’s name to life. Designed as an artistic fusion of the letters “E” and “F,” the symbol swirls upward like a flame, suggesting both the energy of fire and the light of a lit candle. The wick-like extension that anchors the mark downward hints at earth’s grounding force, completing the story of balance. The monogram intentionally captures the yin and yang essence — movement and stillness, transformation and rootedness — all held within a single organic form.
By balancing these two forces, we created an identity that feels both rooted and dynamic — a reflection of the experience Earth & Fire Candle Company offers: grounding the senses while sparking moments of reflection and renewal.
