I’m so excited to share my latest project with you today – the new branding and web design for Pink Moon Jewelry.
The creative direction was inspired by pink sand deserts, crystals and connection. Pink Moon’s mantra is jewelry with purpose and this very much inspired the overall brand story as you can see in the below mood board.
Pink Moon Jewelry Logo & Brand Design
Shannon’s original logo was a bright, watercolour full moon which was beautiful but distracted from her jewelry. The new logo had to be less colourful while working well on a variety of applications such as necklace cards and tags.
After presenting a few options and going through the revision process, here is the new primary logo for Pink Moon Jewelry. Along with this stacked version, we also created a horizontal version plus two alternate submarks. The end result is an elegant and spiritually inspired visual identity.
For brand colours, we kept the original “Pink Moon” pink and added some softer, complementary colours. The new palette selections were inspired by the crystals and gemstones used in Shannon’s work. You can see how the full brand design came together below:
Pink Moon Jewelry Shopify Web Design
Phase 2 of this project was a website refresh. We mocked up a few different Shopify themes in the new brand design style before deciding on the Minimal theme.
Minimal gave us most of the features we were looking for so we opted against a premium theme. With a little bit of coding behind the scenes, we were able to accomplish all the customizations we were after. Here’s a preview of the final home page design on a tablet:
Overall, we couldn’t be happier with how the Pink Moon Jewelry branding and web design turned out! It’s inspiring, elegant, and empowering just like the pieces of jewelry themselves!
