Today I’m excited to announce the launch of my latest web design project for portrait photographer Marsha Kwasnicki! Marsha is a South Surrey / White Rock photographer specializing in beauty, personal branding and family portraiture.
Her style is elegant and emotive, so I really enjoyed the challenge of working with darker tones. Marsha came to the project with a very specific vision for her website. This helped bring the brand elements together quickly.

The Brand Design
Marsha’s brand design is inspired by the artfully directed photo shoots she offers clients. Her brand is elegant and refined while still being comfortable. Portrait photography can be unnatural for those that aren’t used to posing for the camera. Marsha’s approach to photo shoots puts her clients at ease so we wanted the website to feel the same.
The Squarespace Web Design
The goal of Marsha’s website was to have something clean and simple to navigate. Squarespace was the perfect web platform choice to get that desired look and feel.
I think my favourite detail of the web design is the Adobe Stock interior images. We overlayed Marsha’s stunning portraiture so it showcases her work beautifully. In addition, it also highlights how a piece of her artwork can be displayed at home.
